not bad, you may want to try to learn how to duck properly so it's not too heavy on the kicks/808's with other elements, i use the peak controller connected to a band on an eq2, adjust accordingly, [personal notes]-> and YES can be VERY hard to make music of all different types of genres, but it's definitely possible so keep an open mind about it you'll get there! research, experiment, search up frequency ducking or sidechaining, know your adsr's, you can get away with using sample packs or if you wanna deep dive, go ahead and make your own! It does get time consuming, but with knowledge, experience, experimentation, anything and I mean ANYTHING is possible, also lufs metering, a whole nother thing to consider. just thought I'd help someone out, best of luck!

Thank you very much, and I will definitely try your suggestions. This rlly inspires me! 😁

intro is on point, very nice transitions, buildup is different than most and is NOICE, I like it a lot, this is solid GOLD work, very nicely executed, I like that ending too

I like this, the fx work is good, it seems quite unique, whatever lufs values you're hitting click well with my taste, that snare could pop a bit more though and that bass could be hitting more sweet spots but ay ok imo

NeonXer responds:

Thanks

I like it even though I don't speak the language that tells ya somethins good, maybe a little much loudness around the parts like at 2:04 but idk if that was intentional ;p

I like the panning in the intro, the drum rolls about a minute in are aight, however, WHERES THE BASS!? I got the same interface as u btw good stuffs, ik that metal isn't the easiest but get your bassdrums louder all I can say

madsomewhatman responds:

Thanks for the feed back! I do think the bass could be louder.

reminds me of dj mangoo tbh, not bad!

ALMDOfficial responds:

Thank you very much! Glad you enjoyed!

for using just stock plugs, not bad at all, just I can see more being done, like ALL over the place ngl, depending on what you're trying to use or get done with the stock plugs, ik it takes some time to learn stuff, also I checked your youtube too, you're not doin bad, just keep up the progress the efforts are worth it for sure.

lmao, wut? dude just fyi the bass is really bubbly and would probably be muddy as all heck on a dated system. anyway, if it's a joke it's a good one lol, but I can see you having some potential even through that, even if you're making joke tunes, there can come some knowledge out of that but when it's time to take stuff seriously then like, get to it hahah, u can do eeet.

you need more variance, your drums need work and also repetitiveness may not be perceived well by others, it's very simple but you can progress, this seems like a test project or a loop you put together as a first project or something ngl just honest truth, erryone starts somewhere what exactly are you trying to turn it into!? I wanna know, keep up on progress! do some research! want some guidance? ask away friend

I'm an abstract sound designer and also a music producer/aspiring artist soon to be.
